He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Martzahl and Agnes Martzahl (Powell); his spouse Shirley Martzahl; his siblings, Earnest Martzahl (Joy), Leo Martzahl (Sally), Melvin Martzahl (Diane Johanek), Rita Buchberger (Gerald), Laverne Bowers, Nancy Dietz, Bruce Martzahl, Myron Martzahl and Bud Martzahl; his brothers-in-law, Ed Pahl and Harry Schroeder; and the mother of his children Lois Martzahl.

He is survived by: his sons, Calvin Martzahl of Bradley, Gregory "Spunk" Martzahl (Carmen), Troy "Whip" Martzahl and Wade Martzahl (Judy); his grandchildren, Travis Martzahl (Cassie), Josh Martzahl, Brandon Martzahl, Lexi Martzahl, Amanda Martzahl, Jessica Martzahl (Susie), Rachel Martzahl (Sara), Cam Martzahl (Bobbi Obermeier) and Mackenzie Opperman (Mason); his great grandchildren, Trevan, Mara, Bella, Hailie, Remi, Wyatt Martzahl and Haven Hishmeh; his stepchildren, Julie Warning (Mark), Lori Heiting (Gary), Sherry Murphy (Joel), Terry Bork, Rick Bork, Troy Bork (Melanie Chally), Brad Bork (Karen) and Tom Bork (Linda); his stepgrandchildren, Rachel Locy (Nick), Rob Warning (Christine), Nicholas Heiting (Karen), Danielle Dresang (Eric), Stephanie Hinz (Dan), Tyler Murphy (Brienne), Devon Bork, Kelsey Bork (Matt Bittinger), Amanda Bork, Brandon Bork (Kaitlyn), Carly Bork (Jake Guyette), Kyle Bork, Eric Bork, Stephanie Peterson and Dylan Bork; his siblings, Judy Pahl, Norma Van Elzen (Dennis), Sue Schroeder, Jean Bauman (Jerry) and Phillip "Fuzzy" Martzahl (Becky); and his nephews, Steve Martzahl (Jane) and Ron Martzahl. He is also survived by 19 step-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Damn Yankees (N3517 County Hwy M, Hortonville, WI 54944).
