He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Manteufel and Ethel Manteufel (Sutton); his siblings, Beverly Muehlenbein, Mildred, Merlin and Raymond; and his siblings-in-law, Darold Johnson, Robert Muehlembein, Shirley Manteufel and Gordon Van Ornum.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Van Ornum; his children, Diane Nagy (Scott), Green Bay and Betsy Manteufel; his grandchildren, Emily Manteufel, Evan Nagy, Emma Nagy and Autumn Manos; his siblings, Helen Johnson, Twenty, Sylvia Spaulding (Harrison Sturgis), Lois Zemlock (Warren), Pastor Julius Manteufel (Charlotte) and Robert Manteufel (Karen Borchert); and his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Zirbel and Joan Van Ornum. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
