He is survived by: his children, Christine Terens, Gerald Smith Jr. and Timothy Smith (Jan); his grandchildren, Amber, Scott, Joshua, Isaiah, Ezekiel and Calvin; his great grandchildren, Kasper, Ariya, Sophia, Nathan, Jakobi, Iverson, Meredith and Vahhley; his siblings, George Linzmeier, Michael Linzmeier (Betty), Richard Linzmeier (Virginia), James and Francis; and his sister-in-law Betty.
