With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roland L. Schroeder (Horicon, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedwig and Erich; his stepbrother Russell Pluedeman; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Pluedeman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hammann of John's Lutheran Church; his children, David Schroeder (Christine), Robert Schroeder (Terese) and Barbara Knutson (Michael); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin Schroeder (Amalia) and Adrian Schroeder (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Arianna, Dreyson, Aubrey, Ella Schroeder, Liam, Asher Schroeder, Joseph III, Jordan Clemons, Isabella and Alina Indra; his in-laws, Carl and Viola Hammann (Rotenberg); and his siblings-in-law, Art Hammann, Ken Hammann, Lloyd Metke, Delmar Sauer, Ken Sellnow, Bernice Metke, Helen Sauer and Eileen Sellnow.
