He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Gogert and Rose Gogert (Plato); and his wife Judy Schellpfeffer Gundrum. He is survived by: his children, Tiffany and Brett Gogert; his siblings, Brian Gogert (Joyce), Roxanne Owens (Frank) and Mike Gogert; and his stepdaughters, Renee Rocole, Trisha Robenhorst, Ashley Gundrum, Christa Kowalchuk and Staci Livingston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
