She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Nehls and Leona Nehls (Ruprecht); her husband Donald Karel; her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Karen; and her great grandchild Lauren Seehafer.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Greshay (Richard) of Horicon, Thomas Karel (Kay) of Horicon and Steven Karel (Lois) of Horicon; her grandchildren, Dawn Wipperman (Jason), Scott Karel (Lynn), Sara Ricchio (Frank), Michael Greshay (Joann), Denise Seehafer, Anthony Karel (Dawn), Kimberly Heideman (Ben), Megan Maas (Josh), Ashley Young (Andy) and Daniel Karel (Angela); and her sister Janice Wolfram of Juneau. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
