He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Muriel Onsrud (Hovde); his former spouse Jacquelynn Craighead; his wife Jackie Onsrud; his children, Matt Zak Onsrud, Cory Onsrud (Shanna Rhude), Tracy Zentner (Sheila) and Nicki Denner (Anton); his siblings, Richard Onsrud (Margaret Mills), Harlan Onsrud (Pam Simon), Dave Onsrud (Angelle), Debra Welander (Jim) and Barbara Mackenzie (Drew); his brother-in-law Dennis Hintz; his grandchildren, Kelsie Onsrud, Roberta "Bobbi" Onsrud, Connor Onsrud, Chloe Onsrud, Pharren Wilson and Selia Onsrud; his father Alvin Blackdeer (Muriel Onsrud Blackdeer); his parents-in-law, James'Chalky'Squier and Joan Squier Faas; his sister Gail Hintz; his brother-in-law Brian Anderson; his nephew Bradley Hintz; his great-niece Emily Hintz; and also Nicki.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (612 Division St, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
