He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Lyons (Kokott); his brother Keith; his stepmother Denise Klimek; and his in-laws, Roman and Anna Konkel.
He is survived by: his father Gus Klimek (Angie); his wife Julie Konkel; his daughter Nicolette (Ryan); his son-in-law Ryan Johnson; his grandson Dale Michael; his stepfather George Lyons; his siblings, Matt Lyons (Samantha), David Klimek, Michelle Kendall, Maria Windt, Heather Dauffenbach (Paul) and Dana Nevill; and his brothers-in-law, Pete Konkel (Kathy), Tony Konkel (Mary Ann), Bob Konkel (Diane), Frank Konkel (Carrie) and Joe Konkel (Mary Beth). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Mike's generosity was evident through his random acts of kindness, always doing for others, donating selflessly or helping a complete stranger in need without ever looking for recognition or a favor in return.
