She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Fernholz and Charlotte Fernholz (Schaffner); and her brother Harley. She is survived by: her son Ben (Ashley); her husband Mark Squier; her granddaughters, Chloe and Josie; her sisters, Valerie Behrens (Joel) and Wanda Thorson (Ken); her nephew Brandon Behrens (Jodi); and her nieces, Breanna Martin (Scott) and Libby (Erik Kahl). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in her name to the Brice Prairie Conservation Association.
