She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Miller and Lois Miller (Johnson); her husband Gene; her siblings, Jerry Miller and Jackie Hartmann; and her siblings-in-law, Herman Reback, John Eckelberg (Sharon), Reuben Eckelberg (Pat), Ray Eckelberg (Joyce), Helen Harmel, Jerry Eckelberg (Patti) and Kathryn Eckelberg.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Eckelberg, Curt Eckelberg (Kim), Bruce Eckelberg (Dawn) and David Eckelberg (Nancy); her grandchildren, Josh Eckelberg (Molli), Dani Draxler (Clark), Casey Vacek (Joe), Jonathan Eckelberg (Amy), Mandi McKinney (Lloyd), Sam Eckelberg, Jake Eckelberg, Cassidy Eckelberg and Abigail Eckelberg; her great grandchildren, Gunner Eckelberg, Paisley Eckelberg, Owen Draxler, Ethan Draxler, Anna Vacek, Nora Vacek, Caden Eckelberg, Cole Eckelberg, Daniel Eckelberg, Grayson Alexander and Joann; her brother Conrad Miller; her siblings-in-law, Ellen Reneau (Bill) and Stub Harmel; and her great grandchild Chloe Eckelberg.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit those organizations Joann cared about so deeply.
