He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce and Delores; his brother Daniel; his son-in-law Richard Mooney; and his aunt Rosalie Bjerke (Willard).
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Nelson Halverson, Sherri Nelson Mooney of Holmen and Karen Nelson Wiese (Dale Clingenpeel) of Holmen; his grandchildren, Brandon Wiese (Dakotah), Katelynn Wiese, Jacob Halverson and Benjamin Mooney; his brother Jim Nelson (Cheryl) of Galesville; and his friend Margaret Given. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
