She is survived by: her son Jewel Ekern (LaDonna); her granddaughters, Hope Chu (Matt) and Dawn Ekern (Jim Bertelson); her great grandchildren, Dylan and Lilah Chu; and her sister-in-law Betty Beardsley (Al). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
