It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William R. Whitford of Hollandale, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Whitford and Hazel Whitford (Williams); his wife Helen Whitford; his son Bradley; his grandchildren, Kevin and Kimberly; and his brother-in-law Vance Van Matre.
He is survived by: his son Gary Whitford-Holey (Andy) of Minneapolis; his siblings, Loa Van Matre of Mineral Point, Art Whitford (Louise) of Hollandale and Jerry Whitford (Judi) of Dodgeville; his daughter-in-law Kath Whitford of Plymouth, MN; his grandchildren, Lauren Frazier (Travis) of Plymouth, MN and Rob of Kansas City; and his great grandchildren, Dylan and Maisy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorials be made to New Hope Lutheran Church.
