He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Murphy and Geraldine Murphy (McDermott); his brothers, Charles, Larry and Mark; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy, Lawrence Ihm (Elvera), John Ihm, Jim Ihm, Margaret Taylor (Donald), Rita Hannah (John) and Geraldine Ihm.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Murphy; his children, Caroline Evans (Jay), Colleen Goetz (Nick), Paul Murphy (Kathleen) and Al Murphy (Brenda); his grandchildren, Michael Evans, Tyler Goetz (Stephanie), Logan Goetz (Tonya), Cordell Murphy, Cecelia Murphy, Rebecca Murphy and Carter Murphy; his siblings, Ray Murphy (Mary Claire), Marilyn Davison (Mike), Rosemary and Margie Murphy; and his siblings-in-law, Robert, Jerry (Lorraine), Joe Ihm (Lynn) and Trish Ihm. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
