He is survived by: his parent Millie Burkeland (Pederson); his wife Charlene; and his children, Gary Burkeland (Donna) of New Glarus, Carol Carpenter (Darrell) of Monticello, Dennis Burkeland (Angela) of Browntown and Dale Burkeland (Janet) of Hollandale. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
