He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pilling and Ann Pilling (Kieffer); his wife Nancy; his siblings, Patricia Pilling, Kaye Davis, Mary Ellen Ross, JoAnn Swirczynski, Bud Pilling and Doug Pilling; and his brother-in-law Jerry Cassidy.
He is survived by: his son Steve Pilling (Mary) of Blanchardville; his granddaughters, Megan Kammerud (John) of Darlington, Sara Jane Johnson of Pine Bluff, Miranda Wiegel (Paul) of Blanchardville and Jennifer Pilling (Ryan Kumor); his great grandchildren, Emmilin, Easton, Bain, Brody, Audrina, Rylinn and Eleana; and his siblings, Carole Cassidy, Bonnie Pittz (Clarence), Harry (Chris), Bill (Jean), Bob (Marcia), Tom (Verna) and Glen Pilling (Diane). He is also survived by father and grandfather, often lovingly picking on and joking with the grandchildren.
