He is survived by: his children, Violet Austin (Dale) of Platteville, Terri Fitzsimons (Jack) of Darlington, Harold Merrison (Dawn) of Belford, Colleen Mayne (Roger) of Montfort, Kathleen Merrison of Rewey, Helen Erickson (Gerry) of Monroe and Dennis Merrison (Jennifer) of Lone Rock. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and 2 great-great grandchild.
