He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Baalrud and Lorraine Baalrud (Bauch); his father-in-law Dale Ritter; and his brother Merlin Baalrud. He is survived by: his wife Laura Ritter; his sons, Scott (Colleen) of Ann Arbor, MI and Andrew (Erin) of Chicago, IL; his mother-in-law Joanne Ritter of Chippewa Falls; his siblings, Timothy Baalrud of New Auburn, Helen Sheffield (Jeff) of Bruce, Mary Baalrud (Jim Backhaus) of Boyd and Peggy Stanford (Dan) of New Auburn; his sisters-in-law, Clarice Dolan (Leonard) and Ann Rueden (Mark); and his grandchildren, Solin, Brooks, Lennaea, Evie and Charley Baalrud.
