He is survived by: his mother Gladys M. Vavra (Ryan); his mother-in-law Joann Goltz; his wife Joann Vavra; his children, Scott Vavra (Holly) and Renee Vavra; his grandchildren, Kayla Vavra, Emily Vavra, Carly Vavra, Whitley Klatt, Aiden Klatt, Amado Landa, Ashley Geibl and April Geibl; his great grandchild Grant; his siblings, Gene Vavra (Bobbi), Kathy Dahlin, Alice Heiden (Jim), Howie Vavra (Jackie), Joyce Reichow (Steve), Joe Vavra (Lesa), Julie Lavelle (Dan) and Kelly Begley (Dan); and his siblings-in-law, Pam Bertrand (Gary), Grant Goltz (Christy), Orville "Butch" Goltz (Linda) and Ralph Goltz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
