It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Duane Laufenberg (Hixton, Wisconsin), born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Laufenberg and Dorothy Laufenberg; his daughter Kari Laufenberg; his sister Rose; his parents-in-law, William and Vivian Vetrone; and his brothers-in-law, Eddie Vetrone and John Abendroth.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Laufenberg (Vetrone); his children, Kevin Laufenberg (Terri), Kelli Laufenberg and Kim Laufenberg (Gabe); his siblings, Jim (Beth), Bernard (Patricia), Peter (JoAnn), David (Tara), Duane, George Laufenberg (Tia), Cathy Abendroth, Theresa Gilmour (Randy), Caroline Simonson (Allan), Anne Laufenberg and Mary Frazee (Eric); his grandchildren, Olivia L. Nemeth and Peyton L. Hedke; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan Meyers, Kaleb Hardy and Isaac Hardy; and his stepgreat-grandson Brett Hardy.
