He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Hammond (Malchaski); his siblings, Ruby Mathews (Ken), Gordon and Earl Hammond; and his brother-in-law John Hunsley.
He is survived by: his father Clayton Hammond; his children, Allen Hammond (Nancy) and Veronica "Vee" Price; his granddaughters, Amber Price, Abigail, Rachel and Rebekah Hammond; his great grandchild Daisy Morales; and his siblings, Donna Hunsley, Judy Girling (Denny), Carol Kampen (Nick), Sandra Gonia (Gene), Diane Anderson (John), John Hammond (Cyndi), Kenneth Hammond (Marie) and Troy Hammond (Bette).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made in David's name to the Grandview Care Center in Blair, Wisconsin.
