He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dykstra and Anna Dykstra; his wife Beverly Wells; his great grandchild Aaron Dykstra; and his siblings, Sylvia Wassink, Cornelius (Bernice), Henry (Elsie), Sidney, Gerald, Willard and John.
He is survived by: his son-in-law River Run; his children, David Dykstra (Joan) of Oostburg, Ann Dykstra of Oostburg, Dale Dykstra (late Wava) of Mishicot and Kathy Oppeneer (Steve) of Hingham; his grandchildren, Kurt Dykstra (Leah), Nikki Mills (Jason), Kyle Dykstra (Phyllis), Adam Dykstra (Patti), Tim Dykstra (Ashley), Daniel Oppeneer (Lisa), Michelle Huibregtse (Damon), Joel Oppeneer (Sheila) and Michael Oppeneer (Michelle); his siblings, Robert Dykstra of St. Paul, MN and Marge (John); and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Wassink of Hingham, Lillian Dykstra of Hingham, Minnie Dykstra of Hingham and Linda Dykstra of Holland, MI. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hingham Church, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or Pine Haven Christian Home.
