She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Tessmer and Naomi Tessmer (Maney); her parents-in-law, John and Dorothy DeGroff; her great grandchildren, Aaron Thomas and Andie Lynn DeGroff; and her siblings, Naomi, Louie and Glenn.

She is survived by: her husband Robert John DeGroff; her sons, John DeGroff (Nancy Lynn), Jeffery DeGroff (Shawn Thomas) and Jason DeGroff (Hallie); her grandchildren, Thomas John DeGroff (Jessica Lynn), Robert Arthur DeGroff (Jamie Jensema), Stephanie Ann Duggar (Paul Joseph), Daniel John DeGroff (Michelle Finzen), Anthony Robert DeGroff, Cassandra Lynn DeGroff, Abbey Lauretta DeGroff (Zachary Hasenstein) and Katelyn Rose DeGroff; her great grandchildren, Hannah Mae and Leah Joelle DeGroff; her brother Delmer "Bud" Tessmer (Linda); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Jean Engeldinger (Merlin) and Diane DeGroff. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
