She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Kappers and Florence Kappers (Bloemers); her husband David Dolfin; her parents-in-law, Rev. Cornelius and Rena Dolfin; her siblings, Mary DeTroye (Lauren), Harold Kappers (Miriam) and Larry Kappers; and her brothers-in-law, Warren Rauwerdink, Rev. Fred Dolfin (Viola) and Paul Dolfin (Joyce).
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Kanz (Kenneth) of Hingham, Margery Warkentin (Ralph) of Linn Grove, IA, James Dolfin (Ann) of Oostburg, Joel Dolfin (Emily) of Hingham and Todd Dolfin (Laura) of Hingham; her sister Kathryn Rauwerdink; and her sister-in-law Jean Kappers. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund is being established in her name for Pine Haven Christian Communities – Oostburg or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
