He is survived by: his wife Sharon Olsen; his daughters, Kimberly Backes (Cory Koziczkowski) of Plover and Ashley Neumann (Ross) of Cedarburg; and his siblings, David Backes (Pam), Dan Backes (Chris), Mary Willcome (Chris), Mike Jahner (Pat), Mike Backes (Alice) and Christine Breske (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
