He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Winchel Sr. (Hunter); his wife Julie Winchel (Olson); his father Ronald Winchel; his father-in-law Ted Olson; his sister Connie Brueggeman; his brother-in-law Mike Cummings; and his nephew Jeremy Suhr.
He is survived by: his children, Jacob Winchel (Marissa) of Tomah, Jordan Winchel (Jake Sadorf) of La Farge and Terence Winchel (Liz) of Union Center; his grandchildren, Ben, Salena, Jade, Judah and Mable; his mother-in-law Ruth Olson of La Farge; and his siblings-in-law, Jody Cummings of Ironton and Steve Olson (Dee) of La Farge. He is also survived by friends with his mother and father.
