She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Kepler and Olive Kepler (Standish); her husband Wayne Barnes; and her siblings, Carroll Jr., Verlin, Rollin, Tom, Theron, Elma Fry and Grace Blackbourn.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Schumann (Michael) of Reedsburg, Kent Barnes (Salena) of Hillsboro and Kurt Barnes (Lisa) of Kiel; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Tiffany, Jared, Kate, Tim and Whitney. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family suggests memorials in Jean's name be made to Agrace Foundation at 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
