She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Gilkes and Marilyn Gilkes (Sutton); and her siblings, Katrina Schlaver, Trudie Gilkes and Heath Gilkes.
She is survived by: her husband Brian Lange; her children, Scott Grimsled (Tiffany) of Melvina and Cassandra Halverson (Casey) of Viroqua; her grandchildren, Amelia, Charlie and Cecelia; her stepgrandchildren, Kolton, Dominic and Jordan; her siblings, Debra Gilkes of La Crosse, Francine Gartner (William) of Waterloo, Charles Gilkes (Rachael) of Stoddard and Damian Gilkes (Cheryl) of Onalaska; her siblings-in-law, Tammy Gilkes of Westby, Bruce Schlaver of Rockland and Liz Lange of Baraboo; her friends, Zoe Kozlik, Daisy, Ginger and Spot; and also, Ava, Josey, Jackson and Jean. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Hillsboro EMS.
