He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Shaker and Ella Shaker (Sebranek); his wife Marianne; and his grandson Samuel Shaker. He is survived by: his children, James, Jr. (Traci) of Hillsboro, Nancy Shaker Marty of Mt. Horeb, Steven (Shelley) of La Crosse and Wayne (Sue Uber); and his grandchildren, Brienne, Alex Shaker, Mitchell, Tyler Shaker and Abigail Marty.
