He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Berndt and Elsie Berndt (Filter); his sisters, Shirley Garner and Beverly Langer; his brothers-in-law, Clarence Garner and Wilmer Penshorn; his son-in-law Doug Durkee; and his granddaughter Jolita (Dorothy Jensen).
He is survived by: his children, Victoria Durkee, Kathleen Edwards and Roy Berndt (Dawn); and his sister Pat Penshorn. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren; eighteen Great Grandchildren; one Great Great Grandchild.
