She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Borrmann and Tena Borrmann (Roloff); her former spouse Laurence Degner; her husband Robert Du Charme, Sr.; and her half-siblings, Stella Borrmann, Irene Borrmann (Rehbeck) and Edward Borrmann.

She is survived by: her children, Carl Degner (Tonra), Lyle Degner (Lori), Jan Olson (Gary) of La Crosse, Dale Degner (Rose) and Michelle Thew (Don); and her grandchildren, Matt Degner (Robin), Travis Degner (TJ), Elizabeth Kehrmeyer (Michael), Denae Du Charme (Marcia), John Degner (Cindy), Krista Hamilton (Phill), Dustin Thew and Dylan Thew. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church or to the Scenic Hills HOPE cancer foundation.
