She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Brochtrup and Leona Brochtrup (Carney); her son Dale; her husband Ronald Thiel; her daughter Sharon Nett; and her brothers, Robert (Jeanette) and James (Betty).
She is survived by: her children, Romy (Joan), LuAnn Turner (Keith) of Vancouver, WA., Dennis (Amy), Douglas (Janice), Hilbert, Grace Honnef (Stephen) and Roger (Gail); her son-in-law Phil Nett; and her brother Ken Brochtrup (Bernice) of Reedsville. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
