Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gerard Van Cuyk of Hilbert, Wisconsin, born in Kimberly, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 80, on September 26, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cuyk and Cora Van Cuyk (Hermus); his wife Sandra "Bunny" Vollmer; his brothers, Francis and Casey Van Cuyk; and his siblings-in-law, Carmen, Chickie Vollmer, Dennis Aerts and Bob Thiel.
He is survived by: his pet Zoey; his daughters, Doreen Kleist (Tim), Connie Daniels (Doug), Kris Baeten (Randy) and Pam Van Cuyk; his grandchildren, Chad Kleist (Julie), Ben Kleist, Cassie Propson (Luke), Daryl Kleist, Jessica Westphal (John), Justin Schmitt, Michael Schmitt (Genna), Stephanie Baeten (Joshua Kurscheidt), Rachel Baeten and Jerin Van Cuyk; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Cooper Kleist, Kinley Kleist, Chase, Jaxin Westpahl, Mazzie, Dechlan Schmitt and Baby Kurscheidt; his siblings, Joan Roepcke (Vern), Rose Thiel, Mary Aerts and Leroy Van Cuyk (Ruth); his sister-in-law Elaine Van Cuyk; and his parents-in-law, Bob Vollmer (Julie) and Margie Gosz (Bob). He is also survived by his wife, daughters and grandkids.
Also, thank you to Dr. Cherian and Dr. Miller and all the nurses who cared for him in the COVID unit at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
