She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kratcha and Barbara Kratcha; her husband Joe Esser; her sons-in-law, Dennis Kienast and Jerry Sumwalt; her grandchildren, Jenifer Gottschall and Jeff Esser; her great grandchild Miles Haakenson; her siblings, Dorothy Marshall (Frank), Mary Lou Urbach (Robert), Bernard Kratcha (Ruth) and Ralph Kratcha (Dorothy); and her siblings-in-law, George, Florence Esser, Robert, Elsie Esser, Virginia, Art Mackey, Mary, Clarence Hasz, LaVern, Leah Esser, Ann and Don Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle, Jamie, Scott, Carrie and John Esser (Sandy) of Cottage Grove; her grandchildren, Julie and Matt; her daughter Helen Sumwalt (Jerry) of Stoughton; her granddaughter Cindy; her son Tom Esser (Diane) of Cobb; her grandchildren, Stacy, Kelly and Erin; her daughter Mary "Mert" Gottschall (John) of Highland; her grandson Jay; her daughter Jane Kreul (Darrell) of Highland; her grandchildren, Jesse, Amy, Brian and Tracy; her children, Shirley "Mic" Jensen (Rich) of Tampa, FL, Curt, Dawn and Sue White (Jim) of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Joe, Ian, Sarah and Betty; her daughter Teresa Thomas (Mike) of Muscoda; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Melissa and Lori; her daughter Dorothy Campbell (Frank) of Avoca; her granddaughters, Angie and Wendy; her son Tony (Mina) of Madison; her grandchildren, Lukas, Quinten and Max; her son Dave Esser of Highland; her grandchildren, Dustin, Lynsey and Brittney; her son Steve Esser (Korena) of Montfort; her grandchildren, Shonda, Jason and Josh; her daughter Donna Schulz (Jon) of Ripon; and her grandchildren, Jared, Amanda and Rachel.
