He is survived by : his sons, Bart Schmitz (Cindy) of Prairie, Chien and Bret Schmitz of Sun Prairie; his grandchildren, Chelsi Glassmaker (Brent), Samantha Scherf (Mitch) and Maveric Schmitz (Shelby Hoffman); his great grandchildren, Emma Schmitz, Ireland, Declan Glassmaker and Ensleigh Scherf; and his siblings, Greg Schmitz (Rita) of Lancaster, Stuart Schmitz (Judy) of Spring Branch, TX, Kim Erin Carpenter of Albany, Tyson Schmitz (Lynda) of Menomonie and Daron Schmitz (Michelle) of Onalaska. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends.
