She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond LaFlash and Augusta LaFlash (Reger); her husband Donald Kowalski; her son Rocky Starnes; her granddaughter Miranda Galin; and her siblings-in-law, Jeannette LaFlash and Don Ender.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Starnes (Chien) of Prairie, Bambi Welsh (Dan) of Highland and Tawana Wienkes (Jim) of Montezuma, IA; and her siblings, Duayne LaFlash of Mishicot, Sheldon LaFlash (Jeanie) of Auburndale, Betty Ender of Madison, Sherry Whiting (Lynn) of Rockford and Patty Edl (Hank) of Hancock. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren.
