We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2024, at the age of 75, Gary Thalacker of Hertel, Wisconsin, born in Fargo, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Thalacker and Laura Thalacker (Messerschmidt); and his son Nicholas. He is survived by: his wife Marcy Berg; his brothers, Steve (Sue) of Rochester, MN, Mark of Roberts, WI and Gerry (Magaly) of Clover, SC; his aunts and uncles, Bruce Thalacker (Shirley) of Chaska, MN, Neil of Chetek, WI, Bonnie Mitchell of Port Orchard, WA, Gladys Messerschmidt and Joan Messerschmidt of Fall Creek, WI; his sister-in-law Myrtle Lehman of Almena; and his close friends, Paul Campton (Crystal), Josh Java (Mandy Bushong), John Bodzislaw (Angle) and Cody (Laura Weller). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, St. Joseph's Indian School of Chamberlain, SD or any charity of choice in Gary's name.
