It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley F Nelson of Herbster, Wisconsin, born in Ashland, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Minne Beeksma and Esther Beeksma (Sorensen); her sister Lou Ann Belanger; and her brother-in-law Edward Belanger. She is survived by: her significant other Dale Fuller; her children, Paul "Marty" Pittsley, Scot Pittsley and Paula Asmussen; her grandchildren, Daniel, Breanna and Crystal; and her sister June Pullins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Shirley was a big part of her community, loved to bake, and made Christmas cookies that were served at the Herbster gym and then were delivered to people in their homes when Covid started.
