He is survived by: his children, Lori Funk (Michael) of Helenville, Martin Samphere (Suzanne) of Big Bend and Lisa Barriere (Carl) of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Pheadra Wheaton (David), Leah Lynch (Arik), Austin Borbash, Brooke Samphere and Jessica Brzezinski; his great grandchildren, Brylee Lynch, Sophia Lynch-Hunter and Connor Meschke; and his siblings, Ronald Samphere, Terry Samphere of Milwaukee, Loretta Slusar (Jerry) of Arizona and Melody Sirna of Milwaukee.

He would stay at my folks home Mert and Bev when on leave from service and I would see him when Dennis was in town from CA..
