He is survived by: his parents, David Hinz and Susan Hinz (Roth) of Helenville; his grandparents, Ron, Nancy Hinz of Helenville and Sharon Roth of Helenville; his sister Natalie Hinz (Cole Kaminski) of Cambridge; his aunt Ann Hamaker (Vernon) of Fargo, OK; his uncles, Dan Roth (Sue) of Jefferson and Jim Roth (Tammy) of Helenville; his cousins, Amanda (Emmett), Stephanie (Craig), Ike (Gretchen), Alexis, Cory (Abby), Ty (Emma) and Nathan (Taylor); and his friend Joey Vogt (Zoe Barrett). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
