He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schutten and Petronella Schutten (Thelen); his spouse Betty Lucht; his brother Herman; and his grandson Andrew.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Schutten of Helenville and Jim Schutten (Donna) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Anthony Luebke and Cheri Luebke; and his siblings, Betty Igl and Joseph Schutten (Barb). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
