He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Greg Shafer (Mary), Sandi Yeager (Scott) and Darrell Shafer (Joe); his grandchildren, Cody Shafer, Christina Lillge (Andrew), Tommy Shafer, Mandie Garrison (Alex), Grace Yeager, Charles Yeager and Tanner Shafer; his great grandchildren, Christian Wildenberg-Shafer, Reece Gilpin and Caroline Garrison; and his brothers, Bruce Shafer (Jan) and Dale Shafer (Barb).
