Mello J. Lolwing Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 97, Mello J. Lolwing of Hazel Green, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arano Lolwing and Cecelia Lolwing (Bausman); his wife Marie M. Wernimont of Philomena's Catholic Church; his children, Kenneth (Darlene), Judith, Dale and Dean; and his brother LaVerne Lolwing (Joyce).
He is survived by: his children, Merlin Lolwing of Lancaster, WI, Gary Lolwing (Kathy) of Hazel Green, WI and Jean Johll (Pat) of Hazel Green, WI; and his brother Alfred Lolwing (Mickey) of Arizona. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory (2424 STATE ROAD 80 # 825, Cuba City, WI 53807). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2630 N Main St, Hazel Green, WI 53811).
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Mello J. Lolwing Memorial Fund has been established.
