It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Splinter of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, born in Cuba City, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Splinter (Puls) and Thomas Splinter; his wife Marie Heller; his son Dennis Splinter; his siblings, Eugene, Fred Splinter and Roslyn Apel; and his parents-in-law, Dr. Donald, Millie Heller, Kay, Clarence Fleege, Anthony, Lois Heller, Therese, Bob Francis, Harold, Theresa Heller, Jean, Jack Schneider and Robert Fleege.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Grutz (Jay) of Hazel Green, George Splinter (Jodi) of Hazel Green, David Splinter (Leanne Neuman) of Columbus, Sandra Splinter BonDurant (Chris) of Monona, Roy Splinter (Angie) of Eau Claire and Angela Pomering (Scott) of Richland Center; his siblings, Virgil Splinter (Barb) of Platteville, WI and Jane Nank (Roger) of Dubuque, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Nellie Splinter of Dubuque, IA, Marilyn Splinter of Dubuque, IA and Evelyn Fleege of Menominee, IL.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
