He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Brandt and Elaine Brandt (Dalsing); his sisters, Mary Jean Hanfeld and Janice Brandt; his brother-in-law Elmer Timmerman; and his nephew Michael Hanfeld.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bob Brandt (Jeanette) of Hazel Green, Karen Timmerman of Kieler, John D. Brandt (Sharon) of Cuba City, Diane Downing (Rick) of Iowa City and Joan McClain (John) of Hazel Green; and his brother-in-law Norm Hanfeld of Kieler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
