He is survived by: his daughter Mary of Hayward; his stepdaughters, Annie and Amanda Makos; his grandson Matthew Conover; his stepgrandchildren, Devin Pedersen, Robert and William Cepero; his siblings, Mike Kavanagh (Lynn) of Hayward, Kay DeBraal (Dan) of Cottage Grove, MN and Phil Kavanagh (Toni) of Sparta, WI; and also, Donna and Valerie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
