He was predeceased by: his fathers, Michael Joseph Devanie II and Vern Devanie (O'Malley); and his grandparents, Michael J. Devanie, Ellen Fahey Devanie, John O'Malley and Mae Connell O'Malley.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Hayward); his children, Maura of Hopkins, MN and Brendan of Los Angeles, CA; and his siblings, Pat of Roseville, MN, Terry of Libertyville, IL, Danny of Longwood, FL, Peggy of Ponte Vedre, FL, Sean of Mundelein, IL and Kerry Ann of Ponte Vedre, FL. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CAMBA (Trail System), North End Ski Club, American Birkebeiner Foundation, or The Innocence Project.
