Marlene R. Eytcheson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene R. Eytcheson in Hayward, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Howard; her parents, Arthur Dietz and Beatrice Dietz; and her sisters, Marjorie Klynsma and Mary Ellen Barnhardt.

She is survived by: her children, Barb Spielman and Mike Eytcheson (Gail); her grandchildren, Amelia Spielman, Addie Eytcheson (Kevin), Ben Zwiefelhofer (Staci), Adam Zwiefelhofer (Brianna) and Isaac Zwiefelhofer (Emily); her sister Beverly Clark; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Eytcheson, Betty Glidden and Gayle Carlson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hulke Family Funeral Home (3209 Rudolph Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54701). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Eau Claire Wesleyan Church (2405 Keith St, Eau Claire, WI 54701). A committal service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rest Haven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Hope Gospel Mission or Feed My People Food Bank.
