She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Barrett and Jane Barrett (Yellow); her husband Richard G. Gougé; her children, Gordon Mason, Yvonne Doose-Barrett, Nadine Wade and Lizzette Gougé; and her siblings, Angeline Barrett, Mary Jane "Sis" Barrett Roberts, Louis Barrett and John H. Barrett.
She is survived by: her children, Brandon Gougé, Maurice Garbow, Louis Gougé, Donald Butler, David Hunter Gougé, Chris Gougé, Elizabeth Gougé Corbine (Thomas), Christine Andreo, Kim Leecy and Sharon Benson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
