It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L. Leitz (Hayward, Wisconsin), born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 18, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Strandlie and Karen Strandlie (Tronnes); her husband Clarence G. Leitz; and her siblings, Hilda Brei, Jenat Edwards, Anne Almond, Christine Gunsolus, Dorothy McFarland, Martha Collins, Kathryn Pernot, Helen Bitter, Lawrence, John, Robert and LaVerne Strandlie.
She is survived by: her son David Leitz (Pat) of Hayward; her grandchildren, Keith Leitz (Sandy), Kevin Leitz (Melecia Horton), Dennis Rucker (Kim), Randall Rucker (Angela) and Shelly Zartman (Steve); her great grandchildren, Christopher Leitz (Anne), Alyssa Lenius (Shawn), Gabrielle Leitz, Michael Jacobson (Laura), David Jacobson (Katie), Aaron Jacobson, Derek Rucker (Janelle Edgerton), Alicia Rucker (Matt Hilt), Lindsi Oldfield (Andy), Chelsea Iverson (Blake), Kortney Rucker, Brock Zartman, Ben Zartman, Logan Leitz, Malia Vernor, Mekhi Horton, Tayln Rucker and Traytn Rucker; and her great great grandchildren, Harper Lenius, Marlie Leitz, Keegan Rucker, Caston Goecks, Connor Hilt, Michael Iverson, Payton Iverson, William Rucker, Trenton Oldfield and Taytum Oldfield. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
